‘Arty Learners’ Christmas Cards 2018

A little late, but as promised, here are the Painted Christmas Cards received from my learners, for Christmas 2018.  Some traditional and some not, they are not in any order, and you need to view them all.

Some were printed by a local print company’s, from the actual paintings and some were originals made into cards.

As always, I was pleased to receive each and every one.

Congratulations to each learner that they belong too, well done.

Happy New Year to you All

To One and All, Have a very Happy and Healthy 2019 from Art with Yvette.

Tonal Value Exercise by Students – 27th Feb 2018.

Working in Tone with Charcoal is quite challenging especially for students new to this medium, its a delicate and soft medium, creating beautiful tonal values.

The class at ‘Blisland’ were set this exercise, before they could start working in colour with watercolour this week.  Here are the results of ‘Oranges’ in tone and some watercolour paintings in progress..

Cornwall Air Ambulance 1

Charity Art Exhibition Summary.

Thank you to everyone that helped me to run the excellent ‘Charity Art Exhibition’.

We raised £610.50p for ‘Cornwall Air Ambulance’.  However this figure will increase further, as I am still waiting to hear back from them, as to how much was donated in the separate charity collection containers.

The exhibition was opened by the Town Crier of Liskeard, Chris Smurthwaite, it was an enjoyable opening and preview evening.

Thank You One and All.
