Talented Learner

From Beginner to Winner!  Tessa from the Menheniot Art Class,  and ‘New to Watercolour’, has done very well indeed in a local horticultural show.  In my eyes they are all winning entries, and she must be very pleased with her work, I know I am.

Here are those paintings, Well Done Tessa.

‘Photo Format’ of the ‘En-Plein Air’ Painting Class at Blisland.’

The last day of the term at the ‘Blisland’ Watercolour Class, was a beautiful morning, and the planned exercise was a sketching and painting exercise in 15 minutes.  After a practice run indoors the learners went outside with sketchbooks and paint palettes and completed some further quick sketches ‘en plein air’.

The first set of images are of the learners themselves dotted around the heart of Blisland, sketching and paintings speedily, the second group of images are of the actual speedy paintings and sketches.  They all enjoyed the experience and have said that its something that they would do in the summer holidays.

And here are the quick sketches they all produced, on a lovely morning in Blisland.

Final Group of Learner Paintings of ‘Old Wheels’.

Here is the last of the ‘Watercolour Paintings of ‘Wheels in varying condition / state’s of repair by the Learners of the ‘Pensilva’ and ‘Menheniot’ Classes.  As before, the wheels have ‘seen better days’, BUT as per the previous post of ‘Learner Paintings’, they too have produced ‘Characterful’ / Life like Paintings, showing real Artistic Flair.

I am extremely pleased with their end results, Well Done Everyone.

Learners Paintings on the ‘Right Road’.

This weeks class subject matter, was for the Students to produce ‘Watercolour Paintings of ‘Wheels in varying condition / state’s of repair. As you can see the majority decided to produce paintings of wheels that have ‘seen better days’, BUT what they did produce were incredibly ‘Characterful’ / Life like Paintings, showing real Artistic Flair.

I am extremely pleased with their end results, Well Done Everybody.

‘Arty Learners’ Christmas Cards 2018

A little late, but as promised, here are the Painted Christmas Cards received from my learners, for Christmas 2018.  Some traditional and some not, they are not in any order, and you need to view them all.

Some were printed by a local print company’s, from the actual paintings and some were originals made into cards.

As always, I was pleased to receive each and every one.

Congratulations to each learner that they belong too, well done.
