‘Photo Format’ of the ‘En-Plein Air’ Painting Class at Blisland.’

The last day of the term at the ‘Blisland’ Watercolour Class, was a beautiful morning, and the planned exercise was a sketching and painting exercise in 15 minutes.  After a practice run indoors the learners went outside with sketchbooks and paint palettes and completed some further quick sketches ‘en plein air’.

The first set of images are of the learners themselves dotted around the heart of Blisland, sketching and paintings speedily, the second group of images are of the actual speedy paintings and sketches.  They all enjoyed the experience and have said that its something that they would do in the summer holidays.

And here are the quick sketches they all produced, on a lovely morning in Blisland.

Hi Yvette Did’nt they do well! You will be pleased to know that we have dug up the ‘Percy’s Pride red hot poker in the front Garden to accommodate the “Mother’s Day” Azalia bush you so kindly gave me this year for “Mother’s Day’! The red hot poker didNot flower this year and was very untidy looking! It has been there for 25 years! So it has been consigned to the compost bin! Love Mum X X
