Catching up

Hello All,

I have been a bit pre-occupied lately with lots going on and having had several computer problems whilst downloading Windows 10, and to top it all, I went down with an Orrible Cold, sniff sniff.

Well I have managed to sort out one computer but have a second one to do, oh joy!! but at least I have got rid of my cold.

I thought you might like to have an update of some great work being done by many of you that attend my classes.

So Here is the First Picture I would like to Share with You All.

At 91, Percy is my oldest learner, he just gets better and better.  This painting was completed without any drawing to assist him.  He rose to the challenge and wow what a super piece of work it is.  Well done you.

Keep a look out for the next blog of great work.

Congratulations indeed to Percy on painting a stunning study of a rather difficult view of a rose! No wonder Yvette that your painting is so eloquent when your Father is such an exponent of the art. It obviously runs in the veins. Lovely to see such a high quality painting and a lot for us to aspire to. Happy Christmas to you and all your Family Yvette and huge thanks for being such a great Tutor! Like Father like Daughter!

What a beautiful painting … Percy obviously has tremendous natural talent but would he have achieved it without the encouragement of his superb tutor?!
