Bluebell Woods in Watercolour Workshop on 17th May 2014

We had a fantastic workshop painting bluebell woods in watercolour, the weather was superb and we began the day by taking a trip along the lane from Cartwheels Craft Centre to a Local Woodland to be inspired by the bluebells and take some photographs.  The sun was shining casting dappled light through the trees, the bluebells were stunning.

Once back at the Craft Centre we got stuck into working from a small section from the image above, following my step by step demonstrating.  Everyone achieved excellent results, all worthy of framing, which was helped by cups of tea, coffee and cake and the added benefit of sitting in the sunshine whilst having our lunch.

Here are the demonstration paintings.

A smashing day, lovely weather, excellent bluebells and great surroundings and venue.
